I got an email from Andy. Andy basically asks this question. He says “How often should I be sending sales offers to my email list?”
Ok, so me on a regular basis I email, I try to email my database with great content, things that I am doing, things that I’m learning, thing I’m reading, marketing advice all based through case studies and stories on a daily basis. If I don’t manage to do it on a daily basis I hit myself, I get angry and i start to get into that process again tomorrow. I never want to miss a day although it happens and sometimes quite often.
But I want to try to get into the habit of doing it daily. Now, how often do I do sales offers? Well every single email ultimately is selling myself. Whether it’s selling trust with me, my philosophies, my ideas or it’s directing people to my blog posts and of course if they read my blog posts and videos their building trust with me which is ultimately “selling”.
But the real sales messages that come for like products and services, I try and put a little sentence in here and there on a daily basis, but the real sales messages will go once every 3-5 days. Once every 3-5 days an email goes out saying bam here’s a sales message if you don’t like it delete, but I just wanted to throw this opportunity out at you if it’s something that you’re interested and here’s and offer we have going on right now.
So, those are the general metrics that I try to work with, but generally I always focus on emailing every day, highly valuable content that engages and it’s entertaining and then I drive people to offers on a once every 3-5 day basis.
I hope that’s been useful for you Andy and I look forward catching up with you and everybody else soon. If you have any specific questions feel free to put them in the comments and I look forward to catching up with you soon, speak to you soon, bye.
