Without high traffic volume, making decent money off your website is difficult. It’s sort of like opening a retail shop in the middle of small town where only a few cars per day drive by. On the flipside, the number of visitors you bring to your website – or store – is irrelevant if those visitors aren’t people likely to be interested in what you have to sell.
You might sell some delicious steaks, but if the people viewing your website are vegetarians, you won’t make any sales. You need targeted traffic. And I want to help you get massive traffic in a short amount of time – 30 days or less.
The first step is to read my recent post on 77 ways to drive targeted traffic to your website. But, for this post, I want to focus on just one of those methods because I feel this is the fastest way to bring new visitors to your website:
Create a profile and post high quality keyword targeted articles on Ezinearticles.com
Article marketing is a great way to generate fast traffic if done properly. The only problem with article marketing is those articles give you an instant boost in traffic but then fade away into oblivion – or the second/third page of Google. So in order for you to get consistent traffic from your article marketing efforts, you need to post frequently on Ezinearticles.com, and other networks.
If you’re unfamiliar with Ezinearticles.com, you should be aware that your article first must be approved by editors of the site. You don’t have to be a professional writer to get an article approved. But it needs to meet requirements such as proper English and no inappropriate content.
Write 10 articles and call it a day
I would start out with 10 articles. Take your time on these. Make them interesting. You can’t write sales pitches or they will be declined. The articles must be informative. Write about something related to the topic of your website. Each article should have a specific key phrase 2-3 times in the article and at least once in a heading.
If you target a few key phrases, write 3-4 articles based on each key phrase. Like I said, you don’t have to be a professional writer to succeed at article marketing. But I do suggest putting your best work out there. Ask a friend or family member to look over your articles if you’re unsure of the quality. One final point – and this is how you get your traffic – you absolutely must have a strong call-to-action with your key phrase hyperlinked in the author signature tag at the end of he article. This is where you entice the reader to click on your website.
I’d like to hear some success (or failure) stories our readers have experienced with article marketing, so please share away!
