Stage 1 - Strategy
The Automated Business System,beginning with the Strategy stage, was the perfect way to get Tim’s business off the ground. Who would Tim’s ideal customer be, and what would be the perfect pricing structure to ensure maximum take-up? We helped him to work out exactly what would be in his online course. At this stage, we were able to craft the ideal sales funnel for a healthy conversion rate. Stage 1 also included creative work on a visual concept for the business, including an appropriate logo and design work.
Stage 2 - Implementation
The Implementation stage was time for the nuts and bolts of Livetoski.co to be put together. Tim’s skiing course would be very video heavy, with plenty of real life examples of techniques. As well as the usual copywriting and editing of course worksheets, we filmed and edited 13 professional, multi-camera angle videos on location at an indoor ski slope. We also filmed the lead-magnet video ‘Discover the 3 Biggest Mistakes People Make When Skiing’ which would be instrumental in building Tim’s e-mail list, and an important part of the sales funnel design.
While Tim was busy filming, his unique website was being fully built and automated. All the sales copy (including landing pages and a full email sequence) was written and edited, logo and design work implemented, and a payment gateway was built. An important part of the Livetoski.co business model was a community area, and membership log-in system, which we also put together as part of the website.
Stage 3 - Marketing
After the launch of the website, Tim was ready to tackle the third stage of the ABS, Marketing, with our support. HIs main focus was on building a strong Facebook community of improving skiers. For Livetoski.co, the ongoing and flexible nature of stage 3 proved invaluable. Initially, Tim was focused on providing quality content that beginner skiers would love. But by listening to his audience, he realised that it was intermediate to advanced skiers who were really crying out for some help. The ongoing coaching sessions helped Tim refocus to serve his customers better and build his following to what it is today - 11.8k highly engaged members of the Live To Ski Facebook community.
Tim was also able to add a new product to Live to Ski’s offering - a successful online community, endorsed by celebrity ‘Ski Sunday’ presenter, Graham Bell, where pay-monthly members gain access to deals with partners. His fully automated business continues to go from strength to strength, allowing Tim to spend more time skiing his favourite slopes.
